I Have Been Invited to Speak at the Wheelwright Museum!

I was recently invited by the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian to host a discussion about my multi-chaptered journey from photojournalism to jewelry making. This emerging artist series is titled, "A Conversation with Jeweler Jerome Nakagawa," and it will take place on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 2pm. This will be my first live lecture opportunity as an emerging jewelry maker. I would be overjoyed to have friendly faces in the audience.

It is important for me to mention that visitors must complete a pre-registration process to attend, which can be accessed at this Wheelwright Museum webpage: https://shop.wheelwright.org/products/nakagawa

There is a $15 non-member charge. However, the museum itself has been a wonderful resource to me, other aspiring Indigenous artists, and the community. I was told that the seating capacity for the event is 65 visitors.

I'm extremely honored to be invited to speak at this prestigious museum and look forward to seeing you there.
